*The winner of the May 2018 writing competition for Group D is Bint Moosa for her poem titled My Home!*
Here’s another month for another writing contest! This is getting exciting as we’re starting to receive submissions from diverse backgrounds. As you may know, one of the goals of
Global Muslim Writers Nisa Hub is to showcase the diversity of the Muslim ummah through writing; short stories or poems. We can’t do this without you. So, thank you to all those who submitted.
We currently have four different age groups (5-8, 9-12, 13-16, and 17-25) who can submit, but it seems our audience falls within the D (17-25) age group. So we’ll have to work with that, and hopefully, others will join later.
All submitted writings for this month, like the previous one, have been poems. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to read through the wonderful and enlighting poems submitted. Jazakum Allahu khayran to all the contestants.
If your writing doesn’t get short-listed and published, know that you can still resubmit it for another month. You are free to edit it or submit it as it previously was.
Please, show your support by clicking on each poem to read, then vote for the best one on this page.
Voting is open until May 7, 2018.
Jazakum Allahu khayran.
